RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• On call nights and weekends may be required
• Block scheduling type with 1:1 patient ratio during day shifts
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Must have California RN license
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Orthopedic Circulator experience with total hip and total knee procedures required
• Spine experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must care for adult patients with daily census of approximately 20
• Skills include various surgical procedures: lobe resection, lung resection, thoracotomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, laparoscopic procedures, thyroidectomy, arthroscopy, fracture reduction, spinal procedures, joint replacement, urological procedures, and safety protocols
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Two references from within the last year required
• 7-year work history verification required
• Only one holiday time off will be approved
• 50 mile travel requirement from facility
