Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 schedule Monday through Thursday
• Rotate on call and weekend coverage
• Patient ratios: 2 during days, 2 during nights, 1 on weekends
• Work with 2 MRI rooms
• Serve adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• 2+ years of MRI experience required
• BLS and ARRT certifications required
• GE experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must have Virginia or compact state license in hand at time of submittal
• No license or background hits will be considered
• Must pass fit testing requirements - facility cannot accommodate PAPR
• Complete 3 hours of billable modules pre-start
• Skills include adult acute care, adult outpatient, abdomen, breast, chest, GE, PACS, various equipment including Philips, Siemens, Toshiba
• Perform brain, face/soft tissue neck imaging, diffusion, gradient echo imaging, image post-processing
• Handle multiplanar reconstruction, perfusion, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic imaging
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed
