Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Friday-Sunday schedule: 2 days and 1 night shift
• Friday: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM at main campus in Orangeburg
• Saturday: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM at BBMP
• Sunday: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM at BBMP
• On-call rotation required among staff at BBMP only
• Must work if shifts are not filled during on-call periods
• Perform CT scans and radiographic exams
• Produce computerized tomographic scans and diagnostic radiographs
• Obtain patient history and explain routine procedures to patients
• Address patient concerns and questions
• Dress code: Black pants and teal top
• Use Epic charting system
• Work with X-ray equipment, portable X-ray, and CT scanner
• Required certifications: ARRT (R)(CT), SCRQSA (R)(CT), CPR, BLS
• Must provide own radiation badge (agency responsibility)
• One year experience as registered Radiological Technologist and CT required
• Must be registered by American Registry of Radiological Technologists
• Licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association required
• American Heart Association CPR certification required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

Facility:

This healthcare system operates both an acute care hospital and an 11-bed freestanding emergency room facility. The emergency facility features modern imaging capabilities including X-ray rooms, portable X-ray equipment, and CT scanning technology. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes Epic electronic health records. The facility operates with one multimodality technologist per 12-hour shift and provides comprehensive emergency and diagnostic imaging services to the community.
