Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 13-week assignment duration
• Rotating call schedule every 4th week
• Provide imaging support in the OR working vascular interventional radiology
• Position is for a technologist, not a nurse
• Required certifications: ARRT VI and BLS
• Virginia license required but can submit with pending license if eligible for temporary license
• 2 years of experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with angioplasty, carotid stenting, endovascular interventions, EVAR, hybrid OR procedures
• Experience with interventional radiology, prep access site, Siemens equipment, special procedures required
• Skills needed include TEVAR, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, ultrasound, upper and lower extremity angiography
• Must be proficient with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
• Work with Siemens ARTIS PHENO equipment
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Up to 16 hours of non-billable modules during orientation
• Float requirements within scope of practice
• 50-mile radius rule applies
