Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 day shifts with rotating call schedule among 3 technologists
• Call rotation includes: Weekend Call Tech (Tue, Fri, Sat, & Sun), week after weekend call (Thu only), week before weekend call (Mon & Wed)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS
• Epic experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with extensive interventional radiology procedures including angiography, angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, and vascular interventions
• Perform advanced procedures such as TIPS, EVAR, TEVAR, dialysis graft interventions, and radiofrequency ablation
• Handle equipment setup, maintain sterile field, and serve as room circulator
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of 210 patients with approximately 7 visits per day in 2-room department
• Float within hospital as needed
• Must maintain 50-mile radius from facility (locals not accepted)
• Two professional references from assignments within last 12 months required

This medical center operates a comprehensive interventional radiology department with 2 procedure rooms serving a 350-bed facility. The department handles a full range of interventional procedures with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The facility maintains modern equipment and technology to support complex cardiovascular and interventional radiology services for their patient population.
