RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Weekly orientation on Monday with immediate start available
• 2 years of general surgery experience required
• Travel experience required
• BLS certification required
• Call required: Up to 12 hours per week (Monday 7 PM through Friday 7 AM) and 12 hours of weekend call (Friday 7 PM through Sunday 7 PM)
• Holiday coverage required every other holiday
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Handle approximately 25 OR cases daily across 7 operating rooms
• Required skills include appendectomy, arthroscopy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, laparoscopic procedures, mastectomy, total joint replacement, and various other surgical procedures
• Must be proficient in specimen handling, infection control, fire safety, and universal protocol procedures
• Must have either compact license or Maryland license
• Two supervisor references required
• Manager interviews not guaranteed - must be comfortable proceeding without interview
