RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide individualized nursing care for geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients from admission through discharge
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS Certification
• On-call requirements: overnight shifts on weekdays, 24-hour coverage on weekends and holidays
• Call schedule: 1 day per week and usually one weekend per month
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience in community hospital or Trauma level 2 facility required
• 2 years circulating experience required including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, Robotics, OB/GYN (C-sections), and Plastic Surgery
• Conscious sedation experience and monitoring required
• Must be comfortable with GI cases and administering sedation
• Expected to perform C-sections and GI procedures during on-call shifts
• Work in 5-room operating suite serving adult patient population
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must complete orientation modules averaging 1-5 hours
• 7-year work history verification required
• Only one holiday request will be approved
