Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Echo Technologist - Echo Tech
Job Details:
• Work varying 5x8 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend coverage required 1-2 weekends per month Saturday-Sunday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• On-call responsibilities include weekday call approximately 2-3 times per month and weekend call 2 times every other month
• Daily caseload of 7-8 studies for 8-hour shifts or 8-9 studies for 10-hour shifts
• Float to sister facilities downtown as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARDMS RVT/RDCS (AE) OR CCI RCS/RVS, and BLS
• Radiation badge required (agency must provide)
• Work with Epic charting system
• Required scrub color: Navy Blue
• 40-hour orientation period
• Parking fee: $20 one-time payment for parking pass (nights and weekends only)
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Must be aware of emergency response team assignment during hurricane season (June-November)
• Skills include 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Adult Acute Care, Color Doppler, Emergency Department work, ICU, and portable studies

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
