Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 2 years of surgical tech experience required
• CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience required
• Must be able to scrub for surgical procedures
• BLS certification required
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• First-time travelers accepted
• Call required: One shift per week on call and 2 full weekends
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must be skilled in cardiovascular procedures including angioplasty/stenting, aortic aneurysm repair, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
• Experience with specialized equipment including electrosurgical units, fiber optic equipment, and sterilization systems required
• Must follow aseptic technique, isolation precautions, fire safety, laser safety, and radiation safety protocols
• Charting system experience with Cerner preferred
• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
• Two supervisor references required
