Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 day shifts or 4x10 day shifts from 0700-1700
• 2 days of late case coverage per week required
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• No floating requirements
• 1 year EP Lab clinical experience required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers with required EP experience
• Average daily caseload of 18 cases
• 20 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES/RCIS
• Preferred certifications: ARRT, Fluoro permit
• Required equipment experience: Philips X-Ray machine/Siemens x-ray machine, GE Micropacer
• Required EKG experience: Inpatient, Outpatient, obtaining vitals, sinus node rhythms
• Must have experience with hemodynamic monitoring and ablations
• Perform special procedures including cardiac electrophysiology studies, cardioversion, atrial flutter/fibrillation ablations, device implants and explants
• Work with 5 procedure rooms
• Charting system: Cerner and GE Cardiolab
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
