RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts with rotating on-call requirements including weekends and holidays
• Shift times: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM and/or 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• On-call requirements: 1 weekend and 5-6 weekdays per 4-week period
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Handle 12-18 cases per day across 3 newly renovated catheterization labs
• Perform circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring duties in high-volume, high-acuity environment
• Work with STEMI cases and advanced procedures including TAVRS, Watchman, Cardiomems, carotids, Impella, CTO, peripherals, TEVARS/EVARS
• Float to medical assignments and ED for medical holds as needed
• Must have minimum 1 year cardiac or critical care experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Virginia or compact state nursing license required
• Epic documentation experience preferred
• Work with Philips equipment, Medrad and manifold for injections, XPER documentation
• Complete 40 hours orientation and up to 8 hours of pre-start modules
• Scrubs provided
• Work in 3-person teams consisting of RNs and technicians
