Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with four 10-hour shifts
• On-call requirements included
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must be located more than 75 miles from facility (locals not accepted)
• New York state license required in hand to submit
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R (preferred), CCI RCIS (can accept if no ARRT, but limited to one RCIS at a time)
• Floating to other units required
• Skills include: Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab procedures, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Left and Right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, Rotablader athrectomy, Scrub procedures, Equipment setup, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Room circulator responsibilities, Sterile technique maintenance
• Pre-start modules required (up to 10 hours total, 5 hours billable)
• Work with middle adult and older adult patient populations
• Background policy reviewed on case-by-case basis
• Return staff policy requires 1 year gap
