RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Weekend coverage position - every other weekend required
• Patient ratios: Days 1:6, Nights 1:7, Weekends 1:8
• 25-bed unit with daily census of 20 patients
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Floating to other units required
• Must have 2 years of experience and previous travel experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must be located more than 75 miles from facility
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including COPD, pneumonia, non-specific abdominal pain, cellulitis, and chest pain rule outs
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Skills include MS/Tele monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central line and PICC line care, IV management, CVA and seizure care, substance withdrawal management, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, and isolation precautions
• Any nursing uniform color scrubs acceptable
• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours)
• NY nursing license required in hand for submission
