RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Float to other units as needed based on census
• Care for patients with liver, kidney, and pancreatic diseases
• Provide care for liver, kidney, and pancreas transplant recipients
• Manage patients with complex gastrointestinal disorders
• Function as med-surg/tele overflow unit
• Patient population includes adults with daily census of 32 patients
• 32 rooms and 32 beds available
• 2 years of experience required for submission
• Transplant experience specifically with liver, kidney, and pancreas required
• California nursing license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required (must be AHA certified)
• Epic experience preferred
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Must complete non-billable modules averaging 1-5 hours
• 7-year work history verification required
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Required skills include MS/Tele, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, feeding tube management, and liver transplant care
• Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
