RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work on medical surgical unit with telemetry monitoring, overflow unit, post surgical care, and observation patients
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 during days, nights, and weekends
• Unit is transitioning to team nursing model with LPN support
• 42-bed unit with daily census of 42 patients
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations
• Patient diagnoses include medical oncology, GYN surgery, and general med-surg
• On-call shifts as needed and weekend rotation as needed
• Float between like units and campuses within 20 miles (floating between campuses will be rare)
• 2+ years recent medical surgical experience required (3+ years preferred)
• Must have completed at least one previous travel assignment
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Skills required: Telemetry monitoring and IV start
• Cerner experience preferred
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if they fall during assignment
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility
• All RTO must be submitted at time of application
