RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work in medical surgical telemetry unit serving as overflow unit, post-surgical, and observation
• Patient ratio 1:6/7 during days, 1:5/6 during nights and weekends
• Unit transitioning to team nursing model with LPN support
• On-call shifts as needed
• Weekend shifts as needed
• Must have 2+ years of recent medical surgical experience
• One year of travel experience required
• Travel experience mandatory - first-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Skills required: Telemetry monitoring, IV starts
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of 42 patients with 42 beds
• Patient diagnoses include medical oncology, GYN surgery, and general med-surg
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must be willing to work holidays during end-of-year period
• May float between like units and campuses within 20 miles
