RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Thursday schedule with holiday call requirements
• 5 years of operating room experience preferred (may consider less with strong specialty experience)
• Fast-paced OR environment requiring expertise in general, neuro, ortho, trauma, and robotics
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TX RN License
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Must be available to complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Local radius restriction of 110 miles applies
• Hard document deadline: Noon CST Wednesday prior to start date
• Extensive skills required including administration of blood products, robotic surgery (Da Vinci Xi, Mako systems), trauma cases, orthopedic procedures, spinal fusions, laparoscopic procedures, and comprehensive OR protocols
• Must demonstrate competency in fire safety, laser safety, malignant hyperthermia protocols, and infection control
• Experience with specialized equipment including electrosurgical units, fiber optic systems, and various surgical tables required
