Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 2 years minimum experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS or ARRT R
• If traveler has ARRT - MD State License is required
• Call required: 1-2 call shifts during weeknights Monday-Friday and 3-24 hours weekend call shift per month
• Skills required: Interventional Cath, Cardiac Stent Placement, Scrub, Right & Left Heart catheterization, Rotablader, Thrombectomy, Stents, PCI, PTCA and Balloon Angioplasty
• Preferred skills: Cerner, Acute Monitoring, Room Circulator, ACIST, Watchman Procedures, Impella insertion, and (TAVI/TAVR)
• Must function in high-paced efficient environment and be a team player
• Scrubs provided
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Weekly orientation with 36 orientation hours
• Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
• Daily census: 12-20 patients
• Special equipment: Phillips, Mac Lab
• Use of ACIST device preferred

This healthcare facility features a comprehensive cardiac catheterization lab that specializes in advanced interventional procedures. The facility provides state-of-the-art cardiac care including right and left heart catheterizations, stents, angioplasty, FFR, rotablator procedures, PFO closures, TAVR, and structural heart procedures. The department maintains modern Phillips and Mac Lab equipment and offers interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services.
