RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts in the Intensive Care Unit
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred
• Weekend coverage required
• Float required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Preferred certifications: NIHSS, PALS, CCRN
• Skills include arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring
• Work with special equipment including IABP, Impella pump, Swan Line, EKOS for pre-post PCI patients
• Handle vascular procedures with patient recovery
• Experience with McKesson charting system preferred
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Complete billable and non-billable modules during assignment
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
