Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• 1 year of experience required
• ARRT (R)(CT) and BLS certifications required
• Must be able to perform both CT and X-Ray procedures
• Manager will consider candidates with CT experience and limited X-Ray if willing to train/learn X-Ray
• Work setting experience required: Adult Acute Care and Adult Outpatient
• No floating between units
• No on-call responsibilities
• Scrub colors: navy, grey, or black
• Work with GE CT scanner and GE x-ray equipment including portables
• Use specialized equipment including Gulden patient lift and Ulrich injector
• Provide care for all age groups: neonates, infants, children, adolescents, and adults
• Perform various CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head with/without contrast
• Handle isolation precautions/PPE and prepare/administer contrast media
• Start peripheral IVs as needed
• Weekend coverage required for one opening (every weekend)
• RTO required at time of submission
• Must complete Pass/Fail exam (3 attempts maximum)
• PA fingerprints required within 12 months of start date

The department supports interpretation services, radiology departments, and rapid response teams, maintaining a collaborative healthcare environment focused on patient safety and quality care delivery.
