Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology
Job Details:
• Work 5x8 day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 2 years minimum experience required with 1 year hospital-based experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted but must have 2 years of field experience
• Required certifications: ARRT N OR NMTCB(CNMT) and BLS
• Must have experience with GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment
• Perform HIDA scans, bone scans, lung scans, and thyroid studies
• Start and maintain peripheral IVs and follow isolation precautions
• Handle storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
• Must have basic knowledge of nuclear medicine theory and techniques
• Knowledge of radiation safety practices and specialized molecular imaging procedures required
• Must work effectively under stressful and emergent situations
• Strong communication skills required
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Must have DC license in hand at time of submission
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
