Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - NICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 hours per week only
• 13-week contract available
• Patient ratios: 1:2-4
• No call requirement
• Weekend requirement: 3 Fridays, 3 Saturdays, and 3 Sundays in a 6-week period
• Float requirement: Peds/PICU/nursery caring for infants up to and including 12 months
• Self-scheduling per unit needs
• 24 hours of unit orientation required
• Minimum 3 years of experience required in level 3 or 4 ICN
• Unit will accept first-time travelers
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• Ventilator experience required
• Must be comfortable with special procedures including therapeutic hypothermia, nitric oxide, UAC/UVC, PCL's, Broviac, trachs, GTT, and ostomys
• Experience with specialized equipment: Tecotherm, BCPAP, Ram NC, Alaris IV pumps, Med Fusion for feedings, Servo Vents, HFOV, Baby Leo, Giraffe
• Unit systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR, 4P
• Scrubs: Navy blue or white
• Care for premature infants (as low as 22 weeks), surgical infants, and hypoxic injury cases
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours per week

The unit features advanced medical equipment and technology to support the most vulnerable patients, including therapeutic hypothermia capabilities and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation. The facility maintains comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary support to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
