RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Function as Interventional Radiology RN with recovery room responsibilities for patients from deep organ biopsies and angio cases
• Call requirement: 1x per week and every 5th weekend
• Rotating weekend coverage required
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
• Recovery experience with deep organ and angio cases highly preferred (PACU experience)
• IR/Cath Lab experience preferred
• California RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (must be AHA or American Red Cross)
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Operate complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and guidance imaging for invasive procedures
• Educate patients on procedures, medications, contrast media, and associated effects
• Complete routine and priority tasks within established departmental timeframes
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 50 mile travel requirement applies
• 7-year work history verification required
• Only one holiday request will be approved
