Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:

• Provide quality imaging of patients to aid in diagnosis and continuum of care
• Assist Radiologist with examinations
• Perform screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsies
• Work with bone density procedures
• Handle approximately 40 visits per day in 2-room department
• Work with adult patient population
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Patient ratio of 5 during day shifts
• Minimum 3 years related experience as a Mammography Technologist required
• Graduate of an ARRT program required
• Required certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS, current CPR
• State of Arkansas License required
• Registered Mammography technologist preferred
• Charting system experience in Cerner required
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Must handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure
• Ability to stand and walk, bend, squat and twist, occasionally lift up to 100 pounds
• Must have keen sense of hearing and visual acuity
• Work with specialized equipment including mammography chair for patients unable to stand and Hoyer lift when needed
