RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts with holiday coverage requirements
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required
• Floating is 100% required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Care for adolescents, infants, and pediatric patients
• 2 years of experience required (18 months minimum with exceptions)
• First time travelers accepted
• Indiana license and certifications must be in hand prior to submission
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Essential skills include administration of blood products, care of ventilated patients, central line care, infection control, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, pediatric dosage calculations, and PICC line management
• Work with interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
• 2 supervisor references required
• University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation
• Auto-approval for 5 days non-holiday time off, additional time requires facility approval
