RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts with 1:4 patient ratio on a 24-bed Progressive Care Unit
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice or to sister campus (Piedmont Eastside South)
• No call requirements
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days RTO (Request Time Off) per contract
• Holiday requirements: work major holidays that fall during assignment period
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Care for adult to geriatric patient population with diagnoses including GI bleed, DKA, stroke, TIA, hypertension, NSTEMI, COPD, CHF, and other medical conditions
• Work with Epic charting system and Pyxis medication dispensing
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Skills include blood product administration, central line care, telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Equipment includes BiPAP, Airvo, and bedside telemetry monitors
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Full compliance required to start on time with all documents due Tuesday prior to start date
