Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Weekend only schedule working 3 12-hour shifts either Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday
• On-call required with 30-minute response time
• Primary call on one weekend night then flip to secondary the next night (or vice versa)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required (1 year acceptable with neuro and scrub experience)
• Travel experience required
• Scrub experience required
• Neuro IR experience preferred but not required
• Must maintain sterile field and perform room circulation duties
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI, BLS
• Work with patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of approximately 30 patients across 5 procedure rooms
• Perform various interventional radiology procedures including angiography, embolization, stent placement, and catheter exchanges
• Work with specialized equipment including Siemens and GE fluoroscopy machines, ultrasound, and CT scanners
• Must be part of emergency response team and available to stay during facility emergencies
• Must reside over 65 miles from facility location

This major medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility with 700 beds providing advanced interventional radiology services. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment including multiple fluoroscopy machines, ultrasound equipment, and specialized procedural CT scanners. The interventional radiology department supports a wide range of complex procedures and maintains high-volume patient care with interdisciplinary support services including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
