RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts
• Float required to other hospitals if needed
• Patient ratios: 4-5:1 during days, 6:1 during nights
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic and bariatric diagnoses on telemetry unit
• Daily census of 20 patients in 25-bed unit
• Use Pyxis medication system
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS and SC RN license
• 2 years of experience in MS/Tele field required
• 1 year of EPIC experience required
• First-time travelers considered but must have at least 3 years of specialty experience
• Skills required: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, EKG testing
• Complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information
• Orientation occurs every Monday
• Must float to qualified units at other facilities per census needs
• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and rapid response teams
