RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience required
• Travel experience required - NO EXCEPTIONS
• Missouri or Compact License required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Patient ratios: 6 patients during days, 7 patients during nights, same ratios on weekends
• Work on combined medical AND surgical floor with full spectrum of patient care
• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Unit has 28 beds with 23 rooms and daily census of 18 patients
• May float to different units as needed
• Handle diverse patient diagnoses including orthopedic surgeries, gynecology, urology, GI procedures, COPD, CHF, sepsis, UTI, and pneumonia
• Work with interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Two references required for submission
