RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with call and/or holidays
• 40-60 hours of call required in a 6-week schedule
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Must have experience within the last 3 years in: General, Ortho, Robotics, GYN, Thoracic, ENT, Oral, Urology, Whipple, Plastics (free flap), and Liver resection
• Charge experience preferred with potential charge duties if asked
• Required certifications: BCLS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must be able to circulate in operating room
• Experience with DaVinci XI surgical system required
• Scrub experience a plus
• Work with patient age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 70-80 patients
• 24-bed unit capacity
• Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• First time travelers accepted
• Indiana/Compact license or fingerprint application package submission required
• Must have nursing school accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation
