Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 hours per week, 13-week contract available
• Patient ratios of 1:2-4 patients
• Minimum 3 years experience required in Level 3 or 4 NICU
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• Ventilator experience required
• Float to Peds/PICU/nursery caring for infants up to 12 months
• Weekend requirement: 3 Fridays, 3 Saturdays, and 3 Sundays in 6-week period
• No call requirement
• Self-scheduling per unit needs
• 24 hours of unit orientation
• Dress code: Navy blue or white scrubs
• Care for premature infants (as low as 22 weeks), surgical infants, and hypoxic injury cases
• Perform special procedures including therapeutic hypothermia, nitric oxide, UAC/UVC, and tracheostomy care
• Work with specialized equipment including Tecotherm, BCPAP, servo vents, and HFOV
• Use Epic charting system along with Pyxis and SBAR protocols
• Up to 7 days RTO auto-approved with restrictions

This major healthcare facility operates a Level 3/4 NICU with a daily census of 58 patients, providing comprehensive neonatal intensive care services. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment and technology to support critically ill neonates, including advanced ventilatory support and specialized monitoring systems. The unit offers extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
