RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend rotation required with no on-call requirement
• Primary assignment in ED Hold position with floating to Med Surg/Telemetry when not utilized in ED holding
• Must be willing to float to other locations if census is low on home unit
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform clinical procedures including IV insertion, Foley catheter placement, dressing changes, and medication administration
• Utilize telemetry monitoring, ventilator management, and IV therapy
• Document assessments accurately and provide patient and family education
• Work with Epic charting system (experience preferred)
• Required certifications: California RN License, BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required
• Travel experience required
• 2 hours of orientation provided
• Must complete online modules during orientation (1-5 hours average)
• 7-year work history verification required
