Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Thursday through Saturday, 3x12 hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Participate in on-call rotation among staff with potential weekend work when shifts are not filled
• Perform CT scans and radiographic exams using computerized tomographic scanner
• Produce radiographs of designated anatomical areas according to established procedures
• Obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns
• Work as the sole multimodality technologist per 12-hour shift
• One year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and Computed Tomography required
• Required certifications: ARRT (R) (CT), SCRQSA (R) (CT), CPR, BLS (American Heart Association)
• Must be registered by American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association
• Must provide own radiation badge (agency responsibility)
• Dress code requires black pants and teal top
• Use Epic charting system
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Strict attendance policy - missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract without medical documentation may result in contract cancellation
• First-time travelers accepted
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
