RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule requires 3x12 hour shifts per week
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend (EOW)
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Patient ratios: 5:1 during days, 6:1 during nights, 5:1 on weekends
• Float to all medical surgical floors and potentially rehabilitation units
• Care for adults and geriatric patients with daily census of 25-30
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Tobacco and fragrance free facility
• One day orientation followed by full assignment responsibilities
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• No call requirements
• Pre-approval modules completed before start date (5-6 hours)
• Care for patients with diagnoses including CHF exacerbations, respiratory illness, arrhythmias, general surgery, orthopedic conditions, COPD, and sepsis
• Handle post-operative cardiac surgery patients, peritoneal dialysis, stroke patients, and joint replacements
• Use specialized equipment including virtual nursing technology and virtual sitters
