Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Self-scheduling with 4 weekend shifts required in a 6-week period
• Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Floating may be required to Mother Baby, L&D, and Pediatrics areas
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• 3 years of NICU experience strongly preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Start date within the next 3-5 weeks preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, NIHSS
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Must work some holidays
• Pending license accepted with submission but must be active before start
• Local candidates within 50-mile radius not accepted
• Hard documents due 3 business days prior to start
• On-site drug screening required
• Care for neonates and infants with daily census of 13 patients
• 18-bed unit with 6 rooms
• Skills include administration of blood products, ventilator management, central line care, developmental care, IV management, and various NICU procedures

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
