RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work rotating schedule of four 10-hour shifts with weeks of five 8-hour shifts
• 8-hour shifts: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• 10-hour shifts: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekly call responsibilities every 7th/8th weekend
• Weekend call coverage from 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday
• Weekday call times: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM for 8-hour shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM for 10-hour shifts
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• 1-2 weekend shifts per contract required
• Work with various surgical specialties including urology, general surgery, robotics, orthopedics, thoracic, ENT, gynecology, and neurology
• Operate Da Vinci Robot XI (2 units) and Monarch Robot systems
• 2 years of experience required with previous charge experience
• BLS certification required
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Valid PA license or compact license required
• Must complete fingerprinting within 24-48 hours of signing
• 15-panel drug screen required within 24-48 hours
• May float to sister facilities within 10-mile radius as needed
• Required to work every other holiday
• All time sheets must be signed by supervisor or manager

This healthcare facility features a comprehensive 9-room operating suite with a daily census of 20 patients, specializing in multiple surgical disciplines. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art robotic surgical systems including dual Da Vinci Robot XI units and Monarch Robot technology. The operating department provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. The facility serves patients across all age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics and maintains high standards for surgical care across diverse specialties.
