RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts
• Must have travel experience - no exceptions
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience required
• Required certifications: current BLS, TNCC, ACLS, PALS - no exceptions
• No block scheduling available
• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Daily census of 50 patients with 12 rooms/beds
• Patient ratio during days: 4:1 with midshift nurse from noon to midnight
• Required to work 4 weekend days per month unless specifically contracted for weekends
• One pre-approved time off day allowed
• 36-hour orientation provided
• Skills required: blood product administration, CVA care, emergency medications, general emergency department procedures, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, phlebotomy, IV start and maintenance, triage
• May float to different units
• Interdisciplinary support from respiratory services, radiology, social services, and pharmacy
• Two references required for submission
• License in hand or compact required at submission
