RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Circulating position in cardiovascular operating room (scrubbing NOT required)
• Available shift options: 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week for 8 and 10-hour shifts, 36 hours per week for three 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week for four 12-hour shifts
• Approximately 100 call hours per 6-week period with 1 call weekend per 6 weeks (Friday evening to Monday morning)
• Float required to other OR specialties
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted if they have Level I Trauma experience
• BLS certification required
• Must have Indiana license, compact state license, or Indiana temporary license prior to start
• 40-hour orientation provided
• Handle heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO procedures
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Core 5 procedures required with 3 out of 4 cardiovascular procedures experience
• Endovascular procedures experience is a plus
• Cerner charting system preferred
• Travel experience required
• Two supervisor references required
