RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours or 8/10 hour shifts with 40 guaranteed hours
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• Block scheduling not available
• No on-call requirements
• Minimum 18 months experience required, 2 years preferred
• At least 2 years of ER experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, PALS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Epic experience at level 3 or 4 required
• Skills required: Arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, care of ventilated patient, central line care/management, isolation precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, management of dysrhythmias, triage
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum for each
• Complete time-sensitive modules (6-15 hours) prior to start and annually
• All RTO must be submitted at time of application
• 2 references from direct supervisor/manager required
• No pending licenses accepted
• Facility has strict do not call policy
