RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday
• 13-week assignment duration with ASAP start date
• Block scheduling type with manager providing specific schedule details
• Patient ratio of 1:1 during day shifts
• Float to main OR as needed
• No call requirements or weekend coverage mandatory
• 24-hour orientation period required
• Up to 7 hours of non-billable modules required during orientation
• Must have active Virginia or Compact license in hand at submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (preferred), CNOR (preferred)
• 2 years of OR experience required
• Level II Trauma center experience preferred with trauma, neuro, ortho spine, general surgery, and robotics
• EPIC OP TIME experience required with statement of past year experience
• Must attend either accelerated or 2-day EPIC class unless returning within 6 months
• Experience with various surgical procedures including general surgery, gynecology, breast/plastics, urology, orthopedic, and podiatry
• Work with adults and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of approximately 25 patients across 6 operating rooms
• Smoke/nicotine free facility
