RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday set schedule with weekday and weekend call required
• Approximately 14 shifts per month
• Focus on gynecological and general surgery procedures
• Robotic surgery experience preferred, particularly Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• Work with adult patient population in 2-room operating suite
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Must be comfortable with various surgical procedures including abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, and laparoscopic procedures
• Experience with electrosurgical units, specimen handling, IV insertion, and malignant hyperthermia protocols required
• Must follow Universal Protocol procedures and administer blood products
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Local radius of 110 miles - local candidates not accepted
• Must have license in-hand and complete required compliance documentation
