Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM (earlier shift times possible)
• Daily caseload of 25-40 patients
• Weekend work only required under certain conditions such as inclement weather
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required, but CT/SIM experience preferred
• Minimum 1+ years of clinical experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Must have travel experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(T), SCRQSA
• Must be able to operate linear accelerator equipment
• CT experience required with Aria and Vision RT systems
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Skills required: Adult acute care, adult outpatient, isolation precautions/PPE, radiation safety
• Dress code: Black pants with teal top or all black scrubs
• Charting systems: Paper and digital using Aria and Align RT
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
• Block schedule accommodation possible with prior approval but not guaranteed
