RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Float to other units as needed based on census
• Specialize in caring for patients with liver, kidney, and pancreatic diseases
• Care for recipients of liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants
• Manage patients with complex gastrointestinal disorders
• Serve as med-surg/tele overflow unit
• Adult patient population with daily census of 32 patients
• 32 rooms and 32 beds available
• Required certifications: California RN license and BLS (AHA)
• Transplant experience required - specifically liver, kidney, and pancreas
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Skills include MS/Tele, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, feeding tube care, and liver transplant care
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Work with interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Handle special procedures including abdominal organ transplant and advanced abdominal surgeries
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
