Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts as an IR Tech
• Handle 8-12 case caseload
• Weekend call required - 1 full weekend per month
• On-call responsibilities approximately 7-10 days per month
• STEMI Call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation
• 2-hour call back guaranteed
• No floating between units required
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Perform elective catheterizations (diagnostic and interventions), RHC, STEMI procedures, IABP and pacemakers
• Strong catheterization lab experience required with ability to work in IR (mandatory requirement)
• Experience with angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, insertion/programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, scrubbing and maintaining sterile field, temporary pacemaker procedures
• Neuro intervention experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT + MD License, or RCIS
• 3 years of experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Charting systems: Cerner, McKesson
• Strict no-tobacco policy with nicotine and cotinine testing
• Modules completed during orientation and annually (4-6 hours, non-billable)
• May float within hospital or to affiliate hospital nearby
