Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday day shifts
• Perform CT scan procedures using prescribed techniques and protocols
• Review requisitions for completeness and verify patient information
• Adjust equipment and select appropriate technical factors for optimal imaging
• Utilize standard positioning techniques and select proper protocols for each procedure
• Perform scanning procedures of various organs to localize pathological processes
• Administer IV and oral contrast as needed and document in Cerner
• Complete examinations, screenings, and consents in timely manner
• Scan paperwork into Cerner system
• Work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• May float within facility and to affiliate hospitals nearby
• 36 hours of orientation required
• Complete 8 hours of virtual modules on first day and annual modules as required
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, MD license
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• First time travelers accepted
