RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend requirement: Every other Saturday/Sunday; holidays as needed
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Adult patient population with daily census of 40 patients
• 44-bed ICU unit
• Float occasionally to other units as needed
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Self-scheduling system
• One holiday time off request approved per contract
• Epic charting system experience required
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• Travel experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS (within 180 days), TNCC (within 180 days), NIHSS (within 90 days)
• All certifications must be AHA or American Red Cross
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Nursys verification within last 2 weeks required
• 7-year work history verification required
• Skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, blood product administration, central line care, IV insulin protocols, cardiac drip titration, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction

The facility maintains high standards for patient care with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and other specialized services.
