RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Block scheduling with every other weekend required
• Patient ratios of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 13 weekend shifts per contract required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in 8-bed ICU unit with daily census of 4
• California RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (must be AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Nursys verification within last 2 weeks required
• 2 references obtained within the last year required
• 7-year work history verification required
• 50-mile travel requirement
• Skills include ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, managing continuous IV sedation and paralytics
• Work with interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation (1-5 hours average)
• Only one holiday time off request approved per contract
