RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Call requirement: 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month (total of 6 calls per month)
• Work with adult patient population in 5 operating rooms
• Must have 2 years of recent OR experience in a community hospital or Trauma level 2 facility
• Must have 2 years circulating experience in community hospital setting
• Experience must include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, Robotics, OB/GYN (C-sections), and Plastic Surgery
• Conscious sedation experience required - must be comfortable administering sedation and monitoring
• Must be comfortable with GI cases and performing C-sections
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS Certification
• All certifications must be AHA or American Red Cross
• Skills include working with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, electrosurgical units, laser safety, malignant hyperthermia protocols, and specimen handling
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Orientation includes non-billable modules averaging 1-5 hours
