Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No regular on-call requirements, but may be asked to help cover callouts
• No weekend requirements
• No floating required between units or facilities
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), and SCQRSA (R)
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency - facility does not provide badges
• Fluoro experience required
• C-arm experience preferred
• Epic experience required
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Minimal basic Epic charting and Sectra PACS documentation required
• Dress code: Black or Teal scrubs
• Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Work with GE X-ray rooms, portable units with DR Konica Minolta, DR Siemens Healthineers portable, GE fluoro, Sectra PACS, and Epic RIS
• Treat patients of all ages including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform various imaging procedures including chest X-rays, extremity imaging, spine studies, trauma cases, contrast studies, and portable procedures
• Hurricane season response: May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

This 70-bed hospital facility provides comprehensive radiology and imaging services to the community. The facility features modern digital imaging equipment including GE X-ray rooms, advanced portable units, and fluoroscopy capabilities. The radiology department utilizes Epic charting system and Sectra PACS for efficient documentation and image management. The facility maintains high standards for patient care across all age groups and provides thorough orientation and training for new staff members.
