Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour shifts Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
• 2+ years of MRI experience required
• BLS and ARRT certifications required
• GE equipment experience required
• Rotate on-call responsibilities with other staff members
• Weekend coverage required with rotation schedule
• Patient ratios: 2 patients during days/nights, 1 patient on weekends
• Work with 2 MRI rooms in the department
• Provide imaging services for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Skills required include adult acute care, adult outpatient, abdomen, breast, chest, brain imaging, and various MRI techniques
• Experience with PACS systems and multiple equipment manufacturers (Philips, Siemens, Toshiba)
• Must complete 3 hours of pre-start modules (billable time)
• Virginia or compact state license required at time of submission
• No license or background hits will be considered
• Must pass fit testing requirements (PAPR accommodation not available)
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility
